I just have a lot of feelings for Roxy because she just TRIES SO HARD. I know she comes off silly and stuff but she actually does have a lot of issues, mainly with being alone, feeling like she won’t be loved, etc etc. I’M SO SAD, ROXY’S SO GREAT SHE DESERVES TO BE HAPPY. sob sob sob I can’t even be coherent about her I just get so sad and it was a literal slap in the face for her to be Rogue of Void, VOID FUCKING VOID SHE FEELS ALONE ALL THE TIME AND HER BEST FRIEND DIDN’T TRUST HER AND THE ONE GUY WHO CAN ACTUALLY DEAL WITH HER IS IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE ELSE AND SHE HAS MOMMY ISSUES AND SHE DOESN’T REALLY WANT TO DEAL WITH HER PROBLEMS SO SHE DRINKS AND DRINKS AND DRINKS AND URGHHHHHHHHHH
Roxy tries so hard to put a smile on her face and make her friends happy. Their happiness is greater than her own, she probably feels that if they’re happy— she’ll be happy with them. She works hard to make everything work out, and she has to betray the one guy who treats her as something more than a silly drunk, to make her best friend who doesn’t trust her— happy.
I’m actually really sad, because Jake did trust her, and now that Jane choked up (poor thing), there’s a good chance that Jake’s going to brush most of what she says off as her being silly.
